CNC Plasma Burn Table Operator

FEECO International Inc., is seeking a CNC Plasma Burn Table Operator to join our team on 2nd shift. The position is responsible for operating the plasma burning table to a degree that ensures a quality product is consistently created in a timely manner. A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail will allow you to excel in this fast-paced environment.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Follow all safety compliance procedures established by the company
Always work safely using Personal Protection Equipment, such as safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, hearing protection, and other PPE as necessary to comply with safety standards policies.
Perform all burning/cutting operations required to support FEECO fabrication requirements
Proficient with computers and computer programs and Nesting Software
Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs so as to keep the burning equipment in good working order
Check burnouts with drawings verifying proper dimensions and specifications.
Verify that the proper material was used to construct product.
Inspect in-coming materials to ensure quality materials are used to meet customers’ standards and expectations.
Inspect machine and equipment to ensure accuracy of burning and tolerances
Inspect completed product against specifications ensuring all aspects of quality have been met.
Mark all parts produced to ensure proper identification. Ensure all parts are cleaned prior to completion and stacked in an orderly fashion on pallets or in bins for ease in material handling.
Notify proper personnel regarding quality concerns and suggest improvement methods in areas relating to productivity, design and manufacturability
Keep supervisor advised in advance of materials needed for burning to efficiently maintain operations of the plant burning equipment.
Ensure inventory is always marked properly
Report shortage of raw materials
Must be certified in forklift operation and safely utilize forklift to move materials as needed
High school diploma or equivalent.
Shop experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Ability to read and understand blueprints and shop drawings
Ability to operate forklift and cranes
Ability to work 2nd shift; M-Th 10 hour shifts
