Title: Sr. Associate, Field Implementation
Location: Southern California- Los Angeles area
This position is to research cultivate, develop and maintain working relationships with capital, facilities and construction vendors and client stakeholders for the non-acute setting from a technology and contract implementation perspective. Knowledge of capital, facilities and construction is a necessary skill set. This position is responsible for providing competitive, customer service-oriented, existing agreement implementation support, leadership guidance and direction at a regional and local area level.
Cultivates and develops both new and existing vendor relationships by understanding the changing marketplace related to facilities and construction, and develops relationships and agreements that can effectively articulate the intent and design to the end user in order to provide Kaiser Permanente(KP) stakeholders savings opportunities .
Deliver strategically sourced initiatives out to KP end-users by engaging with KP Construction and Facilities Team and 3rd party groups including suppliers, contractors, KP Stakeholders.
Manages, facilitates, orchestrates and drives customer and local, service area and regional relationships in the distribution arena.
Communicates contracting policy and interaction between manufacturers, distributors, contractors and client internal customers.
Provides knowledge based insight and assists in management to Kaiser Permanente Strategic Sourcing Team (Buy to Pay) in setting expectations, agendas, goals and objectives of specific sourcing initiatives.
Effectively communicates, builds awareness and garners adoption in the local field setting to Kaiser Permanente Corporate initiatives including Environmentally Preferred Purchasing (EPP), Diversity and Safety.
Effectively communicates builds awareness and garners adoption in the local field setting to supplier or category Kaiser Permanente Supplier Relationship Management Programs including managed programs.
Implements programs related to Non-Acute categories driving and supporting aggregate opportunities in process improvements and cost savings in the local field setting supporting Supplier Relationship Management.
Facilitates training and education seminars events in support of program implementation.
Measures, monitors and implements KP design and performance specifications
Measure and report on successes or obstacles and drafts and executes on plan to address areas of opportunity.
Executes and communicates effectively upon change management plans
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, business or a related fieldpreferred or five years relevant experience and training, or equivalent combination.
General working knowledge of capital, facilities and construction in a Healthcare/Hospital environment.
General understanding of group purchasing organization (GPO) roles in the marketplace and integrated delivery network (IDN) healthcare system trends related to such.
Experience in launching, leading and managing successful strategic programs.
Project Management experience a plus.
