JSSA Support Representative
Location: Yuma, AZ
Joint Systems Support Activity (JSSA). China Lake Representative at MAG-13, MCAS Yuma, Arizona.
Maintain the AV-8B Maintenance Stations (AMS).
Collect, analyze, and report on data retrieved from the AV8 Maintenance Station (AMS) relating to the Engine Monitoring System (EMS), Aircraft incident Record, and Fatigue Tracking.
Provide analysis and reports of any systemic problems, failures or trends of AV8B systems, sub-systems and components.
Assists the squadrons with maintaining their Joint Mission Planning Systems (JMPS) computers.
Provides training for the Avionics divisions on AV-8B OFP up-grades.
Troubleshoot Tactical Aircraft Moving Map Capability (TAMMAC) and EMU programming I.
Construct TAMMAC Theater Loads and provide them to the squadrons upon request.
Provide technical support to NADEP for AV-8B OFP upgrades and trouble shooting.
Troubleshoot EMU programming and EMS.
Support the AV-8B Simulators I AV-8B Trainers with AV-8B OFP up-grades, trouble shooting, and Theater maps as required.
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements. U.S. Citizenship is required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a clearance.
Proficient in Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP).
High school diploma/GED plus 13 years or more of AV-8B avionics experience; an AS plus 7 years of relevant experience or a BS plus 5 years of relevant experience will also be considered.
Knowledge and experience with Optimized NALCOMIS.
Proficient in evaluating the qualitative reliability, maintainability, and supportability characteristics for AV-8B Avionics and Mission Support Systems.
