Overview

A global company in Tustin (planning to relocate to Irvine in April) is looking for a Japanese bilingual ERP Sr. Manager or ERP Manager who will be in charge of the transition project management from the current ERP System (SAP B1) to the new SAP system as well as operation/management of the new system at the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES (NOT OFFICIAL: PLEASE ASK FOR DUTIES DURING YOUR INTERVIEW)

Establish comprehensive company’s MIS strategy especially for ERP

Supervisor for current ERP system (SAP Business One):


•           Manage and master data


•           Implement and manage required modules and add-ons


•           Integrate with another internal system and outside system (with EDI/API)


•           Manage users & user authorities


•           Manage and administrate infrastructure (cloud or on-premises servers)


•           Create and revise reports or queries (with programming)


•           Manage workflows and internal forms


•           Perform trouble shootings


•           Train and educate users


•           Main contact person and coordinator for the outside IT vendors communicating with Japan HQ’s IT team

Project Manager for implementation project for future ERP system (SAP S/4 HANA):


•           Build and establish blue print for a new system working with appropriate internal staff and outside IT vendors


•           Track schedule to meet deadlines


•           Draft and revise manuals and train staff


•           Build and establish effective workflows


•           Communicate with outside IT vendor and Japan HQ’s IT team

Logistics tasks regarding ERP system

IT related tasks regarding ERP system

BI/Analysis tasks regarding ERP system

Communication with appropriate department or division

Any other tasks or project regarding ERP system

Any other tasks by supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS


•           Adequate experiences, skills and knowledge for ERP system (Experiences, skills or knowledges for SAP S4 or SAP B1 preferred) including both application and infrastructure


•           10+ years experiences for ERP system as SIer or administrator at commercial company


•           IT related educational background preferred


•           Programming skills or experiences preferred


•           Fluent Japanese for both writing and speaking preferred to communicate with Japan HQ and Japanese IT vendors
