Position Overview

The Regional Manager plans, organizes, develops and implements HCC platform electrical distribution strategies.  Directs the actions of regional sales teams and the sales organization to ensure attainment of sales and profit objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop Sales Plans and programs to grow both topline sales and margin in territory

  • Participate in all recruitment efforts of new manufacturers’ representatives

  • Assists in all major quotations for $10K or more by providing factors affecting the market and reasons for either accepting or rejecting the opportunities.

  • Implement sales management tools that will assure maximum efficiency of the sales organization.

  • Maintain executive level relations with the major distributors.

  • Participate in the development of sales and marketing programs that are both product or brand support in nature.

  • In conjunction with marketing, develop and communicate programs to ensure that all new products, programs, and other pertinent information is disseminated to appropriate parties.

  • Participate in due diligence when appropriate to assure growth of HCC horizontal expansion. 

  • Assist in new product development and inform Engineering and Manufacturing of end user requirements.

Skills and Experience

  • Four Year College Degree, preferably in business administration or Marketing

  • MBA in management or marketing is a positive

  • 5 years of industry experience preferred in the electrical industry at both the distributor and end user level

  • Ability to travel 50 - 65%

  • Must reside within region
