Engineer (Wastewater Treatment)
Location: Hyannis, MA
Our office in Hyannis, MA is looking for an
entry-level Engineer to join their
Wastewater Engineering team. In this role you will assist with the preparation
of investigations, designs and project development for wastewater treatment
& collection systems throughout the region.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
For success in this position, you will need the
- Assisting with field
surveys and construction observation
- Assisting with stormwater
- Coordinating and completing
specific portions of assigned projects
- Delivering projects on time
and within budget
- Leading project requests,
both internally and externally
- Maintaining open
communication with project team members
- Obtaining detailed information about work scope from client/manager by active listening and clear
- Assisting in preparing
proposals, bid writing and pricing when required
- Design calculations and
following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s
degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Engineer in Training
Certification preferred or the ability to obtain it
- 0 - 3 years of relevant
experience; internship experience highly regarded
- Intent to pursue Registered
Professional Engineers License in MA
- Highly developed
communication skills and ability to work within a team and independently
- Focus on client service
- Devise approaches to
- Ability to think ahead and
take ownership of your work
- Willingness to observe
construction activities and complete field investigations
