Field Service Technician

Support Technician

Technical Support Specialist

Our client is seeking an experienced Level 2 technician to support their managed service clients. With customer service as the primary goal, you will work with clients remotely and onsite to resolve issues, implement new infrastructure, and act as a true consultant to the client.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical assistance for PC's, Servers, and Networking
Resolve issues for clients via remote session, over the phone, or in person
Recommend improvements to the clients infrastructure
Track customer issues and resolutions

Qualifications:

3 + years experience working for an MSP
5 + years' experience installing, configuring and supporting desktop, laptop and server systems.
Understanding of physical and logical network infrastructure, security infrastructure and performance and capacity planning.
* Windows Servers (Active Directory and/or Group Policy)
* Virtual Environments (VMWare, MSFT Hyper-V)
* Microsoft Exchange Servers
* Security (Firewalls and AV)
* PC / Mac Cross Platform
* Storage (SAN)
* Desktop / Notebook Support
* Networking
* TCP/IP, Routing and Sub-netting
* Backup and Disaster Recovery Planning
* Deploying & configuring Managed Services
Ability to build rapport with clients
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
Positive and professional demeanor

Travel Requirement:
Daily local travel based on client needs

Applicant must have reliable transportation w/ insurance, and current driver's license
