RN - CLINICAL SERVICES - Float Pool (RB) - Full Time - Day
Location: San Diego, CA, CA
An RN is responsible for all aspects of the Nursing Process. Assessment of the patients needs, developing a Plan of the care, Implementing the plan and Evaluating the outcome. This will include performing direct and indirect patient care services to include the administration of medications, therapeutic agents and emergency procedures. Observation of signs and symptoms of illness and determination of abnormal characteristics. Education of patients and their families and documentation of patient interactions. The RN will also contribute to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care within the RN scope of practice.
Mainly supports Cardiology, Allergy, GI, ENT, Urology, and other site departments. Only clinical float and RN supporting these specialties.
Experience/Specialized Skills: Prefer minimum of 1 year of experience. Additional requirements vary according to specialty and duties performed in business unit. Prior Urology, GI, Endoscopy, Cardiology, procedural or urgent care experience preferred.
Required Certification/Registration: Current CA RN license and BLS and ACLS certificate via the American Heart Association.
Required Education/Course(s)/Training: Completion of accredited RN program
