Job Description

B&P support: Review RFP documents, conduct opportunity research, identify and outline a detailed response strategy and prepare technical proposal response. (White Papers / Proposal Response - text and graphics development / Resumes, and Cost Build-up).

Maintenance Lead will plan and manage the maintenance activities and staff (professional/union) for multiple nuclear liquid and solid DOE waste storage, treatment, , tanks, trailers,, office buildings and utilities. Maintenance activities include facility repairs, tank inspection, preventive maintenance, and maintenance of equipment to maintain waste operations and related ancillary facilities to assure all systems and equipment remain operable, stable, safe, and in an environmentally compliant condition.
Maintenance program work, responsive, corrective and preventive maintenance, shall be performed on all waste facilities, handling vehicles and equipment in accordance with OSHA, DOT and other applicable requirements. Similarly, maintenance testing and inspections shall also be performed in accordance with industry standards.

Job Requirements

Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree in engineering, science, or similar degree. Equivalent technical maintenance experience will be considered.
5+ years in a maintenance leadership position in an operational DOE nuclear facility.
5+ years of experience in an operational DOE high-hazard facility. Understands DOE Nuclear Facility requirements including: Authorization Basis, Technical Safety Requirements (TSR) and the O&M of safety related Structures, Systems, and Components (SSC).
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in maintaining, installing, and repairing a wide variety of equipment in a chemical or nuclear industry.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role of various union crafts. Experience planning, budgeting and scheduling maintenance work daily, weekly, monthly and annually.
Experience in managing and developing a preventive and corrective maintenance program.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks within budget and on schedule in a safe and compliant manner.
Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in managing maintenance worker groups of 25+ persons.
