Analyst II/Sr. Analyst – Finance





Job Description:



Part of a team
responsible for billing special and switched access circuits to Wholesale
Customers.




•        
Manage assigned work queues in NGMSS to assign billing elements to
newly provisioned circuits and ensure that circuits are billed on time.




•        
Utilize internal tools including NGMSS, Winforce, Customer Portal,
Contract Price Lists and other available data to determine and apply the
correct rates based on information provided in the order.




•        
Maintain various tables in NGMSS used to house billing elements
(abbrevs, USOCs, corps, exchanges, etc.)




•        
Utilize all available job aids to understand billing scenarios so
the billed elements can be applied properly before 1st bill.




•        
Understand the causes of billing disputes and correct circuit
billing based on information submitted by CABS Account Managers.




•        
Ensure circuit disconnects are handled in a timely manner.




•        
Utilize query tools to extract circuit data for research and
prepare circuit data for auto load programs when special projects arise.




•        
Work with query tools to identify circuits that may not exactly
match the submitted circuit for changes or disconnects so the order can be
worked by desired due date.

multiple assignments with strong attention to detail.





Desired Skills/Experience:




•        
Knowledge
of telecommunications, wholesale billing and/or circuit provisioning.




•        
Experience
with NGMSS or other circuit inventory and provisioning systems.




•        
Knowledge
of telecommunication tools including NANPA, NECA4, LERG, Windstream Online,
Carrier Portal, ICB quoting and other quoting tools




•        
Ability
to interpret and apply billing arrangements based on tariffs, contracts, quotes
or price lists.




•        
Knowledge
of Circuit Design and how billing elements are applied.




•        
Experience
with Windstream’s CABS and/or RevChain billing systems. 








Minimum Requirements:  



College degree and 3-5 years professional level
experience with 1+ year supervisory experience for supervisory roles; or 7+
years professional level related experience with 1+ year supervisory experience
for supervisory roles; or an equivalent combination of education and professional
level related experience required.
