Job Description

Connecticut Multispecialty Group MSO, the management company supporting Connecticut Multispeciality Group, was established in 1996 and is a large multispecialty healthcare organization of over 100 physicians plus midlevel providers and support staff, which provides comprehensive and specialty medical health care services to the residents of central Connecticut, in affiliation with Hartford Hospital and Johnson Memorial Hospital.



We presently are accepting applications for the following positions in our Rocky Hill Billing & Coding Office:




Accounts Receivable Associates: 

Detail-oriented individuals to process account follow-up from third party payers and self-pay accounts.  Responsible for high volume of incoming billing inquiries through ACD line.  Must be able to respond positively to deadlines and handle complex questions and concerns while providing outstanding customer service to our patients.  Computer skills and time management skills are essential. Additional duties include general clerical functions and special projects related to insurance and self-pay collections.  One to two years of accounts receivable experience including one year of experience in a health care organization preferred. 




Coding Specialist:

Certified Coder to perform timely and appropriate submission of specialty coding/billing. Excellent communication, computer skills and time management skills are essential.




Physician Billing Representatives: 

Enter registration and charge information into an IDX billing system, review documents and assign appropriate diagnosis codes.  Requires working knowledge of ICD9, CPT4, HCPC coding and third-party payors.  Previous experience with computerized billing system preferred.
