Orion has an exciting career growth opportunity available for a Lighting Field Auditor/Field Engineer to be an integral part of our Construction Services team based in our Jacksonville, FL office! This is a road-warrior position, so candidates can live anywhere in the US!


As our Lighting Field Auditor/Field Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Construction Services and Project Engineering teams by completing facility lighting audits for our customers and assisting in project proposal development. You will be traveling throughout the U.S. and Canada as needed for field engineering and services.

Responsibilities:




  • Conducting field audit services by providing project design, assessments, and proposal development

  • Troubleshooting current or existing installations for our clients across the U.S. and Canada

  • Assisting Construction Management by visiting project sites for pre-construction meetings

  • Providing on-site assistance throughout the project installation as needed

  • Work hand-in-hand with Project Manager to track installation progress 





Job Requirements

Qualifications:





  • Minimum of an Associates' degree in a relevant Engineering, Electrical, or Construction Management program

  • 6+ months of experience in construction management, electrical planning or design

  • Strong electrical/technical knowledge to assist with troubleshooting in the field

  • Highly adaptable, positive attitude

  • Strong work ethic to motivate yourself while working remotely

  • Must be comfortable with a high level of travel! This role is approximately 90% on-site at our client's facilities.
