Hansen System Program Manager

Pay: $77,084.80 - $122,366.40 /Year
Job Summary: Plans, manages, implements and supports the use and integration of the Hansen system throughout its diverse, multi-agency user community. Serves as the Hansen project manager in aspects of use and operation of the system. Identifies, researches and analyzes technical issues. Makes appropriate recommendations and decisions. Responds directly to both organizational management and customers throughout both MSD and Metro government. Serves as key contact for Hansen application support, configuration, analysis, business process and system re-design and technical problem resolution. Interfaces directly with Infor support and users of the application.
Essential Job Functions: Responsible for the overall management of the system and the day-to-day support for the applications as well as development of new solutions using the application. Serves as contact for MSD and Louisville Metro. Identifies application solutions. Leads projects to implement solutions. Monitors, documents and communicates project status. Ensures user/customer satisfaction. Coordinates the expansion of the Hansen software. Responsible for the systematic testing of all new releases and processes. Works with users to make sure documentation is accurate, published and accessible to all users. Performs training and/or coordinates the training from external sources. Maintains and updates interfaces as needed for continued integration with other software (GIS, SAP, eB, SharePoint, etc.). Provides hardware specifications supplied by Infor to MSD Infrastructure team.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Necessary to the Work: Knowledge of Hansen database design/migration; knowledge of Hansen modules for CDR, CRM, Assets and Work Management; knowledge of requirements analysis, application design, cross-module integrations, cut-over strategies, testing strategies and post go-live support; knowledge of SQL+ and ESRI GIS; knowledge of MSD/Louisville Metro business processes; skill in Oracle DBMS; skill in oral and written communication; skill in project planning; skill in exercising tact and diplomacy; skill in negotiation and conflict resolution; skill in operating a PC and associated Windows environment software (e.g. Microsoft Word and Excel); ability to understand and modify Hansen program code; ability to resolve problems; ability to interpret analytical data; ability to train, supervise and delegate work effectively; ability to direct the work of others; ability to handle multiple priorities; ability to establish goals and priorities; ability to exercise judgment and discretion; ability to analyze problems and initiate solutions.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor Degree in computer science or a related field; five or more years working in a technical role with Hansen applications; three or more years’ experience as lead or manager of application developers; two or more years of project management experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Must have safe work and driving habits.
