Manufacturing Engineer II 

Education: Bachelors

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology or a related discipline; 2 to 4 years of related manufacturing experience; Experience in a Just In Time (JIT) automotive manufacturing environment is preferred; Analytical and problem solving skills; Organizational and planning skills; Computer skills in standard business software (including MS Office programs); Written and verbal communication and presentation skills; Interpersonal skills – to confidently interact with individuals at all levels of authority;



Job Duties: 

Provides day-to-day technical support for the assembly processes in the plant; Maximizes efficiency by analyzing assembly line layouts, workflow, assembly methods, change-over-fixturing, gauges, work-in-process (WIP) storage, and tool storage. Develops Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) requirements, including Process Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (PFMEA), Process Flow Charts, and Process Design Sheets. Leads and participates in activities to build prototype and pre-production sample part, and distributes internal Initial Sample Inspection Report (ISIR). Supports Program Management generated project macro-schedules with detailed engineering micro-schedules to ensure that all project milestones are tracked and completed on time. Identifies Value Engineering/Value Analysis (VE/VA) ideas and standard parts to be implemented into new product designs.



Senior Launch Engineer

Requirements:

Bachelors degree required - engineering and related disciplines preferred; 4+ years of related engineering experience; Technical and understanding of statistics, inspection, testing, dimensional layouts, specification interpretation, and report writing in a manufacturing environment; Knowledge and understanding of CAD, GD&T, and APQP; Analytical and problem solving skills ― including the ability to evaluate and resolve issues or problems related to a successful product launch; Computer skills in standard business software (including MS Office programs); Written and verbal communications and presentation skills;



Job Duties: 

Coordinates product maturation (performance, dimensional, and appearance) phase of new launch; Uses open issues report to record and track all open issues to closure; Reviews advanced quality planning documents, FMEA’s, PDS, Process Flow Diagrams, Control Charts, Gage R&R studies, and capability studies to help identify and resolve issues during the development and launch of a new product; Works with Launch Team to provide production level parts for each Customer Pre Production build; Performs technical and statistical investigations and analysis on production, quality, process, and equipment issues using standard problem solving methods;



Quality Engineer II

Job Duties: 

Prepares advanced quality planning documents and participates in quality planning activities; including FMEAs, Process Flow Diagrams, Control Charts, and Gage R&R and capability studies; Creates necessary documentation for customer initial sample submissions; including AQP, customer documents, and any other required documentation; Travels to customers’ facilities to participate in all phases of the customer’s launch activities; including Component Review Team meetings, assembly trials, and SOP activities; Performs technical and statistical investigations and analysis on production, quality, process, and equipment issues using standard problem solving method; Coordinates the resolution of quality issues and implementation of countermeasures with other departments and suppliers;



Process Engineer - Metalizing
