Job Description


Coordinates    various  activates  pertaining   to  the  Neltec  QMA     (Quality   Management     System). 

Reports  data    on  scrap,  monitors  and   publishes  reports  on  corrective  actions,  and  assists  with auditing functions within the facility.   Maintains and improves upon the quality system and ensures compliance with ISO requirements.


Include the following: 

 Performs internal audits at the direction of the Quality Manager.    Internal audits to include:  ISO 

    systems audits, process audits, product audits and training audits. 

 Processes all applicable document control changes. 

 Control and processing of rejected raw materials including return material requests (RMR) for 

    all copper, glass, resins, solvents and film). 

 Coordinates calibration of inspection, measuring, and test equipment including the oversight of 

    the calibration database. 

 Coordinates, documents and analyzes audit results and initiates responses to audit findings. 

 Maintains      the following   corrective   action  systems:   Customer     complaints  (CAR),     internal  corrective actions (ICAR), preventative actions (IPAR), and supplier corrective actions (SCAR). 

 Manages all CRO’s (Customer Return Order). 

 Prepares and ships samples to outside labs for conformance testing. 

 Maintains quarterly supplier and top twenty customer performance reports. 

 Maintains all applicable ISO management records. 

 Ensures training is implemented on all corrective actions and all documentation is completed. 

 Coordinates all UL sample manufacturing and shipment to UL. 

 Assists with customer specification reviews and file maintenance. 

 Assists with contacting customers on quality related issues. 

 Ability to generate graphs reflective of quality metrics or other key outputs 


Assists in writing and/or revising procedures when necessary.      May interface with customers and 

suppliers   on   quality  related  issues.  Supports   problem-solving      and  continuous    improvement 

activities within the   facility. Performs other   duties   as   assigned   in   support   of  safety,  quality,   and delivery goals.

Must   have   the   ability  to   perform   and   manage multiple tasks simultaneously.     Must possess the ability to handle stressful situations and work well  under   pressure.   Interpersonal   and   communication   skills,   both   written   and   verbal  are   a   necessity.  Must posses the ability to perform clerical duties typical of an administrative assistant. Accuracy is required. 


     • This position requires a minimum of a High school diploma or GED 

     • Strong oral and written communication skills. 

     • Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. 

     • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications:             Word, Excel, Outlook, 

          PowerPoint, and Access. 

     • Experience working with Oracle applications. 

     • Experience working in an administrative role for a quality department preferred.

    • Must successfully pass post employment offer drug testing.
