Job Description

Registered Nurse delivers quality care to patients during their peri-operative experience. The care begins with Pre-Admission Testing, the preoperative phase and continues throughout the PACU/postoperative phase. The RN is a member of the inter-disciplinary team along with OR RN, Surgeon, and Anesthesia Staff.

Job Requirements

Education:
 
Required: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
Experience:
Preferred: PACU preferred
Required: Med/Surg and ICU or ER
Licenses/Certificates:
 
Required: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Mexico
Required: CPR (or within 30 days of hire)
Required: ACLS (or next available class)
Required: PALS (or next available class)
Job:  Outpatient Surgical Services

Organization:  Ambulatory Surgery Center

Employee Status:  PRN

Shift:  Day Shift
