Job Description

The Central Sterile Tech shall be responsible for maintaining sterile supplies and instrumentation for Surgical Services and MRMC clinics for the care and treatment of patients. Responsible for the cleaning and sterilizing of equipment used within the hospital including the operating room.

Job Requirements

Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent education and/or experience to equate to same level of training and education required.
  • Completion of surgical technician program preferred.
Certifications/Licenses:
  • Certified Sterile Processing Technician preferred
Experience:
  • One year of experience in a hospital operating room or sterile processing department preferred.

Shift:  Afternoon Shift - with rotation if needed
