Job Description
Headway Corporate Resources is giving you the opportunity to join an audit team with a national reputation for excellence. Top 30 CPA and Advisory, firm with clients across a diverse spectrum of industries, has a role for an audit professional committed to delivering an exceptional work product. Reporting to an audit principal, you will be responsible for the overall planning organization, and completion of several client audits with the assistance of a supervisor and junior accountants. Responsibilities include:
•developing accounting principles and financial statement presentations
•resolving problems prior to submission for final partner review
•workpaper review
•special projects as needed
Professionals are encouraged to use their understanding of a client’s organization, gained through the audit process, to identify savings opportunities, areas of vulnerability, and new service needs.
You must demonstrate an understanding of the scope and approach to audits of businesses in various industries, among them:
•real estate (60% of clientele)
•professional services
•pension funds and benefit plans
•nonprofits
•manufacturing
Minimum Education and Other Requirements
•An undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting
•CPA
•8+ years at a public accounting firm, or comparable industry experience
•Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
Salary: $145K-$155K
