Job Description
This position will require Interviewers Bilingual in Spanish to conduct telephone interviews for health care and social science research studies from a work station in the research telephone center’s computer-assisted telephone interviewing facility. We’re currently looking for interviewers with a variety of experience levels, from beginner to lead and those that aren’t afraid of rejection on the phone and know ways to work around it, without being pushy. Interviewers will be expected to work at least 4 hours shifts. Ideally, Telephone Interviewers will have experience in administering informed consents or burden statements and conducting research interviews. Our client is an organization that believes in promoting from within based on strong performance. Shifts:
There will be shifts available day and evenings Monday through Friday, as well as day shifts Saturday and Sunday.
All employees will be required to work a weekly minimum of 3 shifts or 18 to 24 hours per week.
Pay:
All telephone interviewers will be paid $11.00 per hour to start.
Pay increases will given based on performance and when given increased responsibilities.

Breaks and Lunches:
One paid 10 minutes break per four hour work periods.
One unpaid 30 minute break for more than six hours worked.
You may be requested to schedule a time frame for breaks.

Call Center facility is located in Durham, NC.

Job Requirements:
Bilingual in Spanish
A professional voice and the ability to be on the phone for extended periods of time
Ability to type at least 25 to 30 wpm with 95% accuracy.
Ability to follow instructions, implement interviewing guidelines, and concentrate despite outside distractions.
Problem recognition and knowing when to ask for assistance and or support.
Ability to probe when necessary during interview process.
Quickly garner rapport with respondent.
