Required Skills:

• PMP Certification preferred
• 5+ years technical Project Management experience
• Experience managing software development projects preferred
• 5+ years experience in Information Technology project design, development and strong leadership, planning and organizing, and interpersonal skills required.

General knowledge, skills and abilities:

o Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines
o Knowledge of the industry project management best practices (i.e., Project Management Body of Knowledge - PMBOK)
o Knowledge of various types of IT project methodologies and life cycles (e.g., conversions, incremental, rapid delivery, classic or traditional waterfall phases of analysis, design, development, testing, implementation) and the correct project application
o Knowledge of standards relevant to the software industry (e.g., ISO, CMM, Six Sigma)
