Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Director of Culinary and Nutrition Services opening. In this position, you will be directly responsible for creating, implementing and managing of the culinary programs in compliance with all federal, state and local regulations. The director is empowered to create an unbridled culture and environment that encourages teamwork, pride and a winning attitude. You will directly manage Culinary and Nutrition Services (CNS) management team in the community. You will be also responsible for hiring and retaining a team of staff who maintain the community, establishes goals and objectives, and also maintains the corporate policies, procedures and standards.  

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • Completion of an Associate degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, Business or Nutrition
  • Bachelor degree preferred
  • ServSafe preferred
  • Dietary Manager Certification preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in dining, retail and or catering operations
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing tools to increase top and bottom line as well as strong communication skills
