Acts is currently seeking a qualified candidate for our Pool Physical Therapist position located at our Brittany Pointe Estates community in Lansdale, PA.

In this role, you will be responsible to:

  1. Evaluate, develop, administer and supervise direct patient care utilizing appropriate physical therapy techniques for treatment programs.
  2. Maintain records pertinent to patient treatment in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  3. Participate in patient care conferences, rehabilitation team conferences, conferences with physicians and other rehabilitation representatives as necessary regarding problem, progress and needs of the patient.
  4. Consistently demonstrates Rehab Services interdisciplinary approach to patient care.
  5. Study current trends and new developments in Physical Therapy by survey of current literature and attendance of professional meetings and conferences.
  6. Contributes to professional development of self and others.
  7. Aids in building and maintaining Rehab Services reputation as a rehab center of excellence
  8. Ability to supervise if needed
  9. May act as clinical preceptor for affiliating Physical Therapy and Physical Therapist Assistant programs. 

Job Requirements

The critical skills and knowledge required to successfully perform the functions of the position include a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy, Master’s Degree preferred, valid physical therapist license or eligibility for license in the state(s) where services are rendered.  2-3 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility rehab environment preferred. Experience in adult neurologic, cardiac, and/or general rehabilitation preferred.
