Inventory Clerks

Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking experienced Inventory Clerks. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in supervising and must be able to work in Excel. This position will be responsible for controlling the movement of raw material and finished goods inventories.

Job Description:

  • Maintain accuracy of raw goods inventory.
  • Maintain accuracy of finished goods inventory
  • Oversee daily operations of shipping department including inspection of product, packaging and outbound shipment
  • Maintain job closes in timely fashion
  • Provide daily direction and support to inventory staff regarding inspection, receipt and storage of both raw and finished goods
  • Regular review of raw goods inventory thru report management and schedule cycle counts
  • Regular review of finished goods inventory thru report management and scheduled cycle counts
  • Generate and monitor inventory reports.
  • Provide daily direction and support to shipping staff regarding on-time shipment of production orders and stock releases via UPS Worldship, FedEx and freight shipment
  • Generate and monitor daily ship reports.
  • Maintenance of item costs and inventory levels in client software.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Solid computer and technical skills
  • Knowledge of customs and international shipping methods
  • Strong problem solving
  • Knowledge of raw material, quality systems and standards, safety standards and compliance, process improvement techniques and machine and tools
  • Solid computer skills
  • Experience with Bills of Lading 
  • Works well under pressure
  • HS Diploma

Pay is $11+ DOE

2nd Shift, must be able to work flexible hours.
