Job Description

Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking an experienced Light Industrial Recruiter for a local client.

Basic Functions: Responsible for recruiting and staffing hourly positions and managing applicant tracking system. Work with Operations Managers to identify staffing needs. Develop sourcing and recruiting strategies to attract and screen top candidates for open positions. Responsible for full life cycle recruiting, including posting advertisements, building strategic relationships/partnerships with local community partners to drive applicant flow, screening and interviewing, and presenting potential candidates to Operations Managers, and following up with both applicants and Operations Managers.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Create Open Position Request Status Report on a weekly basis and distribute to appropriate managers.
  • Develop sourcing and recruiting strategies for hourly employees.
  • Posts open positions on company website, job boards, and social media sites.
  • Reviews and organizes candidate applications.
  • Conducts initial phone screening interviews and invites qualified applicants to PEO and Interviews with Operations Managers.
  • Manages candidate criminal background check consent forms and conducts criminal background searches.
  • Assist with processing applications and conducting employment references.
  • Submits processed candidates to HR Manager for review and approval.
  • Maintains candidate statuses up to date and communicates status changes to hiring managers.
  • Ensure all candidates receive onboarding documents and have successfully completed onboarding documents prior to the candidates start date.
  • Conduct New Employee Orientations.
  • Attend job fairs and recruiting events as needed.
  • Help respond to inquiries from candidates, employees, and managers.
  • Works closely with HR Manager to meet hiring needs and ensure that hiring is consistent with company goals.
  • Work actively on projects to improve the recruiting and selection processes as well as other projects aimed at improving general HR processes.
  • Perform such other duties as assigned by HR Manager.

Job Requirements


Must have 2 years of recruiting experience in hourly staffing in fast paced, high volume environment.

Must have excellent oral and written communication skills that allow for productive communication with applicants, co-workers, and management.

Must be available one evening per week to conduct NEO.

Experience with applicant tracking experience preferred.

Bi-Lingual skills preferred.
