Job Description

This position provides the first line of communication between procurement and other departments to assist in resolving issues related to purchase orders as well as supports the department with placing expense and direct shipment purchase orders. 

Duties:

Generating expense orders

Confirm orders and expedite late orders

Provides accurate information according to item rules to setup and amend item parameters in ERP system.

Daily review of expedite requests and transfers, buys, and to identify the location of inventory to satisfy

Review of late purchases orders and works with supplier to expedite according to purchase order

Processes, confirms, and expedites purchase orders to meet the forecasting and customer requirements.

Tracks shipments and create purchase orders  

•           Research and reconcile Receiving issues.

•           Research and reconcile Accounting issues.

•           Processes product returns to suppliers.

•           Generates expense and project purchase orders according to company policies.

•           Organizes and files compliance information for Procurement.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

•            Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

•           Experience working with an ERP Systems.

•           Microsoft Excel skills are preferred.

•           Strong communication and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with people of varying         responsibilities.



Job Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

•           Minimum of high school diploma and 5 years’ experience in an office environment  

•           Supply Chain certification is preferred.
