We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Communications Strategist position that will be based in our FL Division Digital Marketing department.  This position is based at our office in Altamonte Springs, FL.


The Communications Strategist plays an integral role serving the Executive Director of Digital Strategy and Assistant Director of Content Strategy in planning and developing communications supporting new digital patient experience strategies. This position reports to Assistant Director of Content Strategy.

Specific job duties include:

  • Responsible for supporting the strategic vision of the Executive Director of Digital Strategy and Assistant Director of Content Strategy.
  • Advise on and support the establishment of a strong communications infrastructure grounded in customer service excellence.
  • Assess the current communication state, probe for underlying business problems, and discuss creative, custom solutions that align with the operational environment and ensure measurable results.
  • Produce high quality communication strategies, products, and presentations for the Executive Director of Digital Strategy and Assistant Director of Content Strategy that inform, persuade, and engage.
  • Lead the development of guidance, process, standards, and knowledge documents regarding shifts in CRM strategy, digital marketing, and patient experience.
  • Drive the delivery of internal roadshows and educational efforts, ensuring new strategies and operations are understood and supported.
  • Provide guidance and hands-on support in the design and delivery of communication strategy and planning documents.
  • Apply best practices in change management communication to ensure engagement with, advocacy for, and participation in implementing efficient, effective, and healthy change.
  • Collaborate and communicate with staff to increase understanding of the new digital marketing strategy and how to implement and execute reformed marketing practices.
  • Support crosscutting communication initiatives, especially those that are high-risk and/or high value for emerging digital strategies.
  • Work across the organization to help ensure stories, achievements, impact, and outcomes are elevated and shared appropriately.
  • Provide thought leadership on customer service, patient experience, digital marketing, and content strategy.
  • Provide orchestration among team members, leadership, key stakeholders and internal teams (such as IT) and vendors/partners to ensure content is successfully delivered.
  • Provide content strategy recommendations to clients based on information through content analysis, site audits, competitive assessments, focus group testing, and metrics.
  • Continually evaluate efforts and determine resources (e.g. staffing, vendors, costs) needed for future success.
  • Display high competency in project management, working in a fast-paced and complex environment, execution of large projects, and working under multiple and competing deadlines.

Job Requirements

Experience Requirements:

  • 8 years of experience required.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, IT, Communications, or related field required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
