We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Customer Service Representative position.  This position is based at our Rx Plus Pharmacy department in Sanford, FL.
This position is responsible for answering questions regarding the Corporate Prescription Plan.  Duties include assisting with compiling, reconciling and maintaining records and prescriptions for the Pharmacy. This position is responsible for maintaining faxed prescriptions log and follow up with physician and member regarding refill requests. Must be able to multitask efficiently with other assigned duties. Communicates consistently in a positive and professional manner, giving accurate information to all external as well as internal customers.  Oral and written communications require sensitivity, good judgment and a caring attitude be displayed in every situation.  
Specific job duties include: 
  • Displays good customer service skills when dealing with patients and must be able to retain composure under pressure.
  • Displays ability to critically think through situations with good problem solving skills and learns new processes quickly.
  • Leaves adequate and understandable notes in the member’s profile for any issue that needs to be communicated to other staff members
  • Disengages the angered caller and converts a negative communication to a positive and helpful exchange before alerting the Customer Service Supervisor for a call back.
  • Maintains an awareness in the development of process changes and integrates these updates into practice.
  • Reviews all incoming faxes through Cypress software and logs according to pharmacy guidelines; assuring that all member information is logged accurately.
  • Reviews all second refill attempt requests against Carepoint software in a timely manner to determine appropriate prescription follow up.
  • Faxes all second attempt refill requests in a timely manner to the appropriate physician. 
  • Follows up with member regarding any denied refill request or clarification needed for physician information in a timely manner.
  • Sorts and counts all new and refill faxes received for the day and communicates with appropriate staff member.
  • Follows up with all outgoing fax rejections and researches issue and follows up with team as necessary. 
Experience Requirements:   
  • Customer Service experience, required.
Education Requirements:
  • High School diploma, required.
  • Needs to have excellent customer service skills, inter-personal skills, communication skills, accuracy, and the ability to follow up.
