We are currently seeking qualified candidates for an Executive Director of Finance Enterprise Resource Planning position that will be based in our Finance ERP department.  This position is based at our solutions center in Altamonte Springs, FL.
The Executive Director of Finance Enterprise Resource Planning will lead a team of Finance professionals who will be responsible for acquiring, configuring, deploying and supporting General Ledger, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Consolidation, Net Revenue Accounting System and other Finance related systems across Adventist Health System.

Specific job duties include:

1. Leading PeopleSoft Finance Team Implementation
  • Lead the Finance team responsible for the deployment of PeopleSoft Finance, Payroll and Accounts Payable modules as part of an overall ERP implementation project
  • Develop, document and review business process design
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and make and manage the development of recommendations that lead to improvements in system performance and efficiency
  • Perform various analyses and prepare written material as required, including position papers, requests for Information, scope of work documents, business requirements, implementation strategies, test plans, and training requirements
  • Interface with all participants and project stakeholders to ensure clear project communication and coordination
 2. Leading Finance Systems Production Support
  • Develop and manage a support organization to support facilities live on the ERP system, Shared Service and Corporate Finance teams including application support, data analysis and reporting functions
  • Manage service levels for issue and ticket resolution in support of Finance Shared Services
  • Act as a liaison between Finance functional Leaders and Information Technology Teams
  • Accountable for forecasting and managing the Finance team resource utilization, competency, and cost of delivering projects and services
 3. Managing and Providing Thought Leadership on additional Finance related    Technologies:
  • Build a team to acquire, configure, deploy and support Finance advanced technologies
  • Coordinating the selection, acquisition, integration and deployment of Finance related solutions
  • Provide direction on the Finance analytics strategy and development

Job Requirements

Knowledge & Skills Required:

  • Experience in leading multiple ERP/Finance management projects including; vendor selection, design/build and implementation projects is required
  • Experience with multiple Finance point solutions such as General Ledger, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Project Costing, Asset Management, Financial Consolidation Reporting, testing, Helpdesk support is required
  • Broad range of Finance related systems experience required
  • Experience with Oracle PeopleSoft is required
  • Experience with converting people off of other ERP platforms such as Lawson, or Series is preferred
  • Experience in business process redesign and optimization is required
  • Experience in managing Finance functional development coordinated with an Information Technology Department is required

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or equivalent required
  • Master’s degree in business MBA, strongly preferred
  • Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration a plus
