We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a HR Instructional Design Manager position that will be based in our Human Resources ERP Project (iSynergy) department.  This position is based at our Solutions Center in Altamonte Springs, FL.

The Instructional Design Manager works with the ERP functional HR/HRSS, Taleo and Time & Attendance teams to develop HCM and Time-Keeping curriculum to be applied in training materials and various training delivery methodologies. Position responsibilities listed below include the ability to demonstrate and clearly articulate knowledge of HR/Time Keeping processes. This position oversees the delivery and continuous improvement of the training modules and programs.


The incumbent will manage instructional design team members and is responsible for ensuring the integrity, quality, effectiveness of the training curriculum and delivery. Depending on project scope and complexity, the  HR Instructional Design Manager may be required to manage one or multiple projects or initiatives and is expected to deliver training outcomes and objectives as specified within the project plan framework.

Specific job duties include:

Training Development & Delivery

  • Develop and deliver multi-faceted Instructional Design approach for the purpose of training end users on Human Resources iSynergy applications, including ILT, CBL, UPK, QRGs, imbedded help, etc.
  • Develop and deliver 'Train the Trainer' classes to designated facility staff for purposes of delivering ongoing facility instruction.
  • Incorporate into instructional design curriculum development and deliver training on new AHS HR business processes resulting from HR governance committee decisions as related to the HR applications.
  • Maintain and increase knowledge of AHS HR/PR business processes and general HR/PR practice requirements, including; applications, technology, policies, procedures to anticipate and define application design needs
  • Build and manage relationships within the iSynergy team to successfully accomplish training development and delivery tasks on time or ahead of schedule
  • Efficiently prioritize and plan training development and delivery activities to meet ever changing demand as project life cycle matures.

Training Improvement & Evaluation

  • Provide timely and accurate reports to management of training development progress
  • Develop and deploy effective training evaluations for participants of both classroom and on line training for purposes of development and delivery improvement
  • Stay up-to-date with current and emerging trends in HR/PR healthcare business process and information management technology and its potential application
  • Quality test training materials, exercises and data. Perform learning assessments on their effectiveness for training participants and update training materials, presentations, QRGs, online content, and/or simulations accordingly
  • Continually assess the effectiveness of the end-user training curriculum & delivery related to the HR and T&A applications

Events, Milestones & Staff Development

  • Attend meetings relevant to iSynergy training development and organizational readiness initiatives.
  • Collaborate and provide oversight into planning of iSynergy training meetings, events and communications.
  • Demonstrate ability to lead meetings effectively, set agendas, accomplish stated goals.
  • Continue to provide on-going support to implementation waves as designated by project management and assist in the documentation of post deployment lessons learned.
  • Encourage staff development through affiliation with professional training organizations and participation in conferences and/or learning sessions as budget permits.
  • Assist in preparing test scenarios for TRN Environment to keep the TRN environment sync-ed with object development and migration, conducting test runs and taking corrective measures to bring training documentation current with the production environment.
  • Alert iSynergy HR with any testing failures for immediate remediation.

Leadership

  • Demonstrate ability to successfully manage instructional designers in the production and delivery of ERP related training.

  • Demonstrate ability to lead a multidisciplinary team in the delivery of high quality, customer focused outcomes.
  • Effectively negotiate and communicate with relevant business process owners as well as internal and external stakeholders.

Job Requirements

Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience developing and delivering system end-user training
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in professional training management position managing classroom & training environments
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience Computer Based Learning development
  • 2 years or more experience in professional system training manager position in a Healthcare setting preferred.
  • 2 years’ experience developing and delivering HR or PR system end-user training preferred
  • 2 years User Productivity Kit (UPK), Captivate or similar training development software experience preferred


Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Master’s Degree preferred (or equivalent field HR/PR instructional design experience)


Knowledge and Skills:
  • Computer Based & Instructor Led Learning & curriculum development
  • Advanced Communication skills
  • Advanced Computer Literacy skills in computer based learning applications
  • Adobe Captivate skills or equivalent  presentation application
  • Oracle UPK skills or equivalent CBL applications
  • Knowledge of Oracle PeopleSoft and/or WorkForce Software a significant plus.
  • Advanced Computer Literacy skills with:
      • Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
      • Taleo or applicant tracking software/applications
      • HCM systems or equivalent software/applications
      • Time & Attendance software/applications

Licensure, Certification or Registration:

  • ATD: CPLP (Certified Professional in Learning and Performance) or similar a plus
