We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a HR System Training Specialist position that will be based in our Human Resources ERP department.  This position is based at our solutions center in Altamonte Springs, FL.


The iSynergy (ERP) HR System Training Specialist responsibilities include the delivery of HR and Time & Attendance applications training for AHS facilities in support of the iSynergy ERP and shared services initiatives. The HR System Training Specialist functions as lead facilitators during the delivery of training content using various appropriate instructional methodologies specific to meet the targeted audience learning styles. This position plays a key role in ensuring that end users possess the knowledge to utilize the HR and Time and attendance applications as designed based on the end user’s role. This position acts as an advocate for the iSynergy ERP and shared services project.
Specific job duties include:
  • Collaborates primarily with the iSynergy HR Instructional Designer(s) to identify learning objectives and learning methodology to achieve knowledge transfer
  • Gather and prepare training materials needed for training delivery sessions,
  • Maintain updated supplemental training materials (QRGs and Job Aids)
  • Coordinate with Employee Contact Center to ensure current content availability in knowledge base
  • Facilitate training at multiple facilities either via instructor-led or virtual based training
  • Develop or oversee the production of classroom handouts, instructional materials, aids and manuals
  • Develop, update and test course material to maintain currency
  • Track and report training activities to support timely tracking of training completion
  • Assess lessons learned from previous training delivery experiences and recommends solutions to identify and close training gaps.
  • Identify and Test End User Log-ins for training delivery sessions or for self-study materials.
  • Verify course logistics in a timely manner prior to any scheduled training to ensure preparedness.
  • Identify and assist with coordinating any training delivery contingencies
  • Deliver Instructor-Led or Virtual Based classes to designated facility staff
  • Coaches participants as needed within session on class content and principles. Uses experience, relative stories and proven adult learning theories to illustrate concepts.
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate with tact, diplomacy and professionalism to training participants and stakeholders.
  • At the conclusion of any training session or training lab support, leave classroom and audio visual equipment as instructed or guided by facility.
  • Continually assesses in collaboration with Employee Contact Center to maintain HR AnswerLink Knowledge base current with training content and resources.
  • Periodically review project related communications, presentations, course content, HR Shared Services training content to identify any inconsistencies as it relates to training delivery.
  • Provide ongoing on-site support in training/proctored labs during deployment
  • Track daily training/proctored lab attendance and communicate patterns to stakeholders on a daily basis


Job Requirements

Knowledge and Skill Required:
  •  Demonstrates the ability to be highly collaborative, prefers teamwork and team success without a rigid structure, and able to build strong relationships with internal clients and teammates.
  • Demonstrates ability to successfully resolve training participant concerns to facilitate transfer of knowledge.
  • Demonstrates the ability to coordinate the set-up of facility audio visual (AV) equipment and classroom set up.
  • Proactively generates ideas, works collaboratively to brainstorm and plan, and able to take action and drive successful implementation.
  • Ability to work independently with significant attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate organization skills through the ability to effectively prioritize tasks assigned.
  • Responds constructively to feedback from supervisory, participants and colleagues and operates with a mindset of continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency with most of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Publisher)
  • Ability to Travel 40-50%, travel increases with deployment activities
  • Knowledge or experience with course authoring tools (UPK, Captivate, Lectora, Articulate, etc) a plus
  • Knowledge of Oracle PeopleSoft and/or WorkForce Software a significant plus
Education Requirements:
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Training, HR with related field or equivalent training delivery experience a definite advantage
  • Master’s Degree in Instructional Design, Education, Training, HR or related field preferred
Experience Requirements:
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in professional trainer position, managing classroom environments for business operations to adult professionals (ideally in a Healthcare/Hospital setting) preferred
    • 1 year experience in delivery of system end-user training to adult professionals or equivalent related experience preferred
    • 1 year or more direct experience in HR or Time and Attendance applications preferred
    • 1 year of classroom AV equipment set up experience preferred

Licensure, Certification or Registration Preferred:

  • Training Certificate, ATD preferred
  • Presentation Skills Certificate, ATD preferred
  • ATD Master Trainer preferred
