The ECS Manager must have the ability to multi-task on various projects and day-to-day tasks. This equates to the ability to handle a large volume of complex projects simultaneously. Assigned projects and tasks are expected to be completed on time without need of direct supervision. Excellent communication and customer service skills with the team, management, and region personnel are required.  Develops and maintains documentation of current environment, project plans, and other supporting information. Assists the Director, Technical Services in developing budgets (identification and recommendation of items), and procuring equipment and supplies. Performs system generation, tuning, configuration, upgrades, performance management, disaster recovery, and usage reporting as required. Works with multiple cross functional teams such as Network, Voice Services, Enterprise Systems Management, and Infrastructure teams in the design and implementation of future Cloud and Unified Communications systems and products.

This position must demonstrate proficiency in messaging and collaboration Services environments, system management, server technologies and infrastructure services. This position demonstrates excellent technical management skills in support of the Office 365 tenant and mobility vertical. This is the senior technical knowledge expert of all technologies and services within messaging and Collaboration services.  This position is expected to be able to complete any task or project of any level of complexity within Messaging, Mobility and Video Services without assistance from others.  This position is expected to independently manage the largest and most complex projects and is expected to multi-task complex projects and issues. This position is a demonstrated leader over all aspects of Cloud, Messaging, Mobility and Video Services..

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma is required.  College degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent education is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct experience with Cloud and collaboration services environments design, installation and support in a large complex environment.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Office 365, Exchange, Lync, Enterprise Mobile Management and Teleconference Solutions.
  • 3-5 years’ experience managing top level technical staff in a distributed network environment is required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and enthusiastic “can do” attitude.
  • Ability to work independently is a must.
  • Ability to quickly learn systems with little or no documentation.  Continuous learning of new systems, business processes and concepts are a must.
  • Must have the ability to work well with people of varying levels of technical abilities.
  • Must have full understanding of project management methodologies and concepts. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required.\
  • ITIL Foundations Certification preferred.
