are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Pharmacy Purchasing Technician
position that will be based in our Rx Plus Pharmacy department. This
position is based in Sanford, FL.
Pharmacy Purchasing Technician performs a wide range of supportive duties to
assist the Pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medication so that patients
receive consistent care. Duties include transmitting multiple drug orders,
reconciling invoices, and receiving. In addition, this position is responsible
for maintaining inventory system accuracy, data integrity, local level audit
controls and inventory levels to prevent product and/or supply out-of-stocks.
Coordinates pharmaceutical product recalls, all reverse logistics activities
and annual inventory processes.
Participates in pharmaceutical sales representative activities within
the facility and prepares periodic purchasing reports as directed by department
management. Works only under the supervision of a registered Pharmacist and
does not perform duties that can only be legally performed by a registered
