We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Program/Project Manager position that will be based in our Supply Chain department. This position is based at our corporate office in Altamonte Springs, FL.  
This position provides the opportunity to be responsible for ensuring that assigned projects are successfully planned, implemented, and completed, managing specific programs and contracts for adherence to terms and resolving issues, monitoring expected results of programs to actual results, and collaborating with suppliers on business to business expectations and improvements. This position also manages specific contracts as they relate to supplier relationship and performance, issue resolution, updates to the contract, and interaction with the field.  The project/program manager collaborates with strategic sourcing managers, corporate associates, materials managers, hospital staff, shared services, the legal department and suppliers in order to effectively perform. 
Specific job duties include:
  • Creates project plans, runs project meetings and calls, assigns tasks, communicates issues, seeks resolution, and effectively manages projects through completion.
  • Manages specific supplier contracts or category programs and as such ensures adherence to terms, audits performance of KPI’s, resolves issues, and communicates with all stakeholders as necessary to ensure programs are running as expected.
  • Handles contract implementations by identifying and securing needed resources, education, and support, engaging leadership as needed to ensure successful completion.
  • Engages suppliers in discussions around business to business requirements and processes and then collaborates with appropriate personnel, ensuring agreement in direction and final execution of agreed upon decisions.  Monitors decisions post implementation to ensure success and achievement of needed process improvements.  Restarts the cycle as needed.
  • Researches questions from hospitals, Supply Chain Shared Services, and other sources, related to assigned projects, contracts or programs, and engages appropriate resources for assistance as needed, communicating an accurate and appropriate response to the inquirer.
Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience working in Supply Chain or Materials Management.
  • Successful management of multiple projects.
Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP) preferred
  • Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
