As a converging point person for people, process, and technology, the Regional Clinical Informatics Manager has a leadership role in Transforming Clinical Care, maximizing the benefits of information systems within AHS-IS while coordinating the regional clinical informatics for assigned facilities. Leads efforts to optimize people’s use of clinical information technology and identify opportunities for clinical process improvement. Acts as a key contributor working in collaboration with professionals on enterprise-wide clinical informatics projects. Collaborates to enhance clinical systems in support of excellence in patient care, clinical transformation and establishment of best practices. Communicates findings and provides recommendations to facility leadership and Executive Team.         

Job Requirements

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Highly strategic, creative, and process oriented
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
  • Ability to interface and influence at all organizational levels

    • Experience with leading organizational change

 Registered Nurse
  • Master’s Degree or 5-7 years of related professional experience
  • Five or more years of related clinical experience and clinical leadership experience.
  • 5 years of experience with information systems, clinical software, and other computer applications. 
    • Master’s Degree in Nursing or Clinical Informatics
    • Prior experience with Cerner Millennium

  • Active Registered Nurse License
  • ANCC Informatics Certification
