We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Market Research Analyst position that will be based in our Strategic Planning department.  This position is based in Altamonte Springs, FL.

This position has the opportunity to be responsible for

Specific job duties include:
  • Collects, maintains, designs and disseminates internal and external healthcare data and information to prospective clients (i.e. Marketing, Business Development, CHN, Administration, operations, etc.)
  • Extract, verify, compile, analyze and format data from other healthcare industry databases and other sources for planning, decision making, evaluation and accountability purposes
  • Maintains the external databases (i.e. Truven, AHCA, etc.).  Acquires and retrieves data as necessary, provides for timely updates and assists in design and ease of use of the data for the end user
  • Create forecasting models for market share, volumes, key business trends, etc.  Assemble data for and in conjunction with yearly corporate strategic planning process
  • Monitor competitor activities, create competitor profiles, service line volumes, goals, and conduct competitor research as needed
  • Prepares presentations of the data for use in communicating with team members, administration, and operations. 
  • Write and prepare narrative and statistical reports of findings and program updates including indicator reports; prepare charts, graphs and tables of research findings using spreadsheet software
  • Analyzes trends and requests by using available tools and software applications in support of executive decision making
  • Handles multiple/simultaneous projects through the effective management of time in order to meet strict deadlines required by management, auditors, actuaries or other internal or external customers.
  • Creates graphs and presentations in a timely, effective and professional looking manner in order to support departmental and/or management requests

Job Requirements

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics or related field and/or 5 or more equivalent years of experience in healthcare setting.
Experience Requirements:
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Excel database programs and data analysis software such as SPSS, SAS, Access, QlickView, Crystal Reports, SQL, etc.
  • Expertise in research and evaluation methods, and survey techniques.
