GENERAL SUMMARY: Part-time position responsible for development and implementation of custom applications and providing application support. The person in this role works across a variety of platforms, frameworks and front-end technologies. The person will develop applications, websites, integrates code with additional systems and resolves code errors. 
  • Develop custom applications such as hospital internet websites, enterprise wide intranet, native mobile app and other custom applications. 
  • Follow the technical standards and best practice for developing applications. 
  • Help in troubleshooting and resolving programming (software code) issues. 
  • Learn emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into programming and applications. 
  • Grasp of security principles and how they apply to web applications. Analyst responsibilities 
  • Collaborates with hospital leadership, physicians, clinicians, end users, vendors and associates to implement and roll out applications or new functionality across all facilities, provide high quality training sessions to our internal customers. 
  • Acquire advanced level functional knowledge of assigned applications. Administration and support responsibilities 
  • Completes tasks in a proactive manner actively seeking ways to produce high quality, efficient work. Responds promptly to assignments and tasks as requested and keeps commitments to deadlines. 
  • Prepare and provide status as well as progress reports for all work activities assigned to you. 
  • Participate in support activities on a 7 * 24 on-call basis. Identify and troubleshoots issues and problems and provide end-user support. 
  • Participate in the routine administrative work of the team. 

Job Requirements

-Knowledge of at-least one of the following technologies: PHP, Javascript, C#/VB.NET, ASP.NET
-Source Code Management (Git, Mercurial, SVN, etc.)

-Javascript Frameworks (React, Angular, etc.)
-CSS Preprocessors (Sass, Less, etc.)
-Server-side development frameworks (Symfony, DNN, etc.)
-CMS experience (Drupal, Wordpress, etc.)
-Database interaction (MySQL, MSSQL, etc.)
-Experience working within Linux or Windows development environments
-Exposure to Agile/Lean development practices
-Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations, multiple projects. 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: College degree or five years of related experience. Zero to one year of experience with custom application development Possess experience with information technologies and a knowledge of appropriate programming languages, operating systems, relational databases, and system utilities needed to support. 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: College degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Bachelor's or Master's degree with Business or Healthcare concentration
