Job Description

  • Responsible for the day to day Transport Operations in terms of asset scheduling, routing and driver activity management so as to ensure resources are utilized in the most efficient and optimal manner.

  • Prepare and oversee the scheduling and routing of assets to ensure accuracy and timeliness thereby ensuring contractual obligations (customer and departmental SLA’s) are met.

  • Distributes the daily activities as per the work load requirements to drivers/helpers and supervises driver/helper activity assignments.

  • Conduct pre-departure driver briefings to ensure all required information is communicated and understood.

  • Act as a focal point for addressing and resolving any driver’s issues; and escalating issues to higher management where required.

  • Prepare KPIs and reports accurately within process timeframes.

  • Ensure compliance to all operational procedures, policies and practices; ensure these are communicated to all team members.

  • Notifies Supervisor in the event of an emergency; a serious situation; or unusual events which has an impact or may have a potential impact on transportation operations.

  • Proactively identify potential problems and opportunities for improvement.

  • Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork, shared goal and values.

  • Maintain professional partnering relationships with inter-department teams across all parts of the Kuwait operation.

  • Any other related duties/ projects assigned by Supervisor from time to time to meet business exigencies.

Job Requirements

  • At least two years experience in a similar capacity
  • Knowledge of Arabic
  • Analytical skills 
  • Planning and time management skills
