Job Description



The HR Specialist serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contract and resolving work related problems. HR Specialist will spend 40% of the time on sourcing, recruiting and hiring talent, and 60% on Internal HR, filling all job orders, providing leadership, instruction, mentorship and supervision. Reports to CEO 


  • Hiring Internal staff, as well as associates, on boarding, employee relations, benefits, and retention Manage and guide team performance, productivity 
  • Implement and conduct Employee Performance Evaluations (performance improvement plans) using MBO/Balance Scorecard, sets HR staffing goals 
  • Training of staff focusing on HR topics Work on improving company efficiency and reduce operating costs 
  • Implement HR policies and procedures 
  • Oversee and audit HR related administrative paperwork (ESD claims through ICM) 
  • Responsible for employee payroll 
  • Refining HR program and Improve Customer Satisfaction, customer service and manage client relations 
  • Partner and network with local businesses, universities/colleges, organizations and attend job fairs Responsible for compliance with Federal and state laws and regulations 
  • Safety training to prevent and minimize work related injuries and conduct injury investigations, process WC claims, work in collaboration with Sedgewick to manage WC claims. 

  • Prepare and maintain employment records related to events such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions using HR management system software. 
  • Interpret and explain HR policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations. 
  • Hire employees and process hiring related paperwork. 
  • Participate in recruitment of temporary employees. 
  • Inform job applicants of details such as duties and responsibilities, compensation, benefits, schedules, working conditions, and promotion opportunities. 
  • Address employee relations issues, such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or concerns. Schedule and conduct employee orientations. 
  • Maintain and update HR documents, such as organization charts, employee handbooks, directories, and performance evaluations. C
  • Confer with management to develop and implement personnel policies and procedures.

Job Requirements



  • BA; PHR certificate 
  • 3-5 years HR Specialist experience/Industry related experience 
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Leadership and supervision skills, ability to take initiative and create exceptional results 
  • Enthusiastic and able to function well under stress, available 24/7 
  • Ability to establish credibility across all levels of the organization 
  • Knowledge and understanding of Federal and WA employment state laws and regulations Effectively prioritize and organize work load, dependable, reliable, strong sense of urgency Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, outlook and Publisher)
