Job Description


    • Plan and develop methods, procedures and schedules to conduct a continuously improving quality process.
    • Take a leading role in the further establishment of creating an environment where there is a Total Quality attitude and behavior.
    • Work with the materials group in cost and inventory reduction projects, to streamline flow of products, reduce product and transactional costs and to improve internal processes and allow increasing inventory turns
  • Responsible for writing routings/manufacturing instructions using manufacturing engineering processes
  • Manage the successful transition of new products and technology into the production arena.
  • Write appropriation requests and prepare quotes
  • Participate in concurrent engineering design reviews
  • Evaluate and approve drawings, routings / MI’s, specs and other documents.

    • Design and procure tools/equipment.
  • Process development and documentation of manufacturing work instructions.

    • Support prototyping activities of new product development.
  • Evaluate and solve production problems
  • Manage production operations including all activities of the shop floor and follow established procedures and approved processes.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing
  • 5 years in a manufacturing environment
  • PLC programming experience.
  • Have knowledge in the areas of manufacturing, machining, CNC programming, electrical machine controls, gauging and quality systems.
