Job Description

SUMMARY: Will perform turning milling and drilling as assigned


  1. Operate turning milling and drilling machining centers as assigned
  2. Operate machines in a batch or cellular configuration within the department
  3. Perform in-process inspections using a variety of measuring equipment and obtain first piece
  4. Produce parts by interpreting and understanding blue print requirements
  5. Perform specialty programming or set ups
  6. Record labor and other production information on Hour by Hour sheets
  7. Follows all safety and work rules.
  8. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  1. A High School diploma is required
  2. 3 to 4 years of experience in a manufacturing precision machining environment
  3. Past experience with a CNC turning center is preferred
  4. Past experience with a Haas vertical machining center is preferred
  5. Experience with a Mitts and Merril Key Seater is preferred
  6. Experience with Fanuc controls is preferred
  7. Knowledge of G&M Codes  
  8. Proficient knowledge of GD&T and blue print reading skills
  9. Ability to understand and follow work instructions
  10. Past experience with manual turning/milling or drilling or CNC mill, lathe and drilling is required
