Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 • Build Crates for Shipping
 • Maintain a safe working environment and work in a safe manner
• Kitting, assembly, and packaging of orders
• Operation of lift trucks
• Receive product into proper inventory location if needed
• Review customer orders for accuracy and detail
• Process any customer orders that arrive from production throughout the day
• Package customer product sufficiently to make sure it is protected during shipment
• Process orders in the UPS system as required
• Forward customer orders to Shipper for processing
• Report any product or equipment concerns to appropriate person
• Maintain proper relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and outside contacts
• Actively participate in any ABS and ISO initiatives
• Perform other duties and assist in other areas as needed

Job Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Must be able to build crates from blue prints.  Use hand tools such as drill, power saw, tape measure, nail gun.
High school diploma or equivalent, certified to operate lift trucks
Previous experience in a warehouse shipping/receiving environment preferred
