Geospatial Analyst, Junior

Key Role:

Support the delivery of GIS/database management support for Multi-disciplinary infrastructure, facilities, and emergency management project teams. Assist with the management of geospatial data, program resources, IT systems implementation and sustainment, and geospatial data creation. Contribute to the members of a team delivering GIS support to the USMC. Work independently at times and represent both the firm and the firm's customers in a range of venues, including client briefings and meetings with regulators. Foster and maintain a cooperative working relationship among customer organizations and project stakeholders with differing missions.

Basic Qualifications:

-3 years of experience in a GIS

-related position

-Experience with using ArcGIS, ArcGIS Online, and Access to complete mapping efforts

-Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

-Ability to maintain data used to create and update field wide maps and facilities data

-Ability to work with facilities team members to ensure appropriate updates are made to a facilities GIS database

-Ability to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability within a work environment

-Ability to pay strict attention to detail and product quality

-Ability to help develop project status reports and business correspondence, including memos, letters, e

-mail, spreadsheets, slides, and various presentations, when needed

-Ability to Multi-task and handle several projects at the same time

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with DoD agencies, including the Marine Corps preferred

-Knowledge of the overall mission, organization, functions, capabilities, administration, and operation of the Marine Corps

-Possession of excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills preferred

Clearance:
