Recruiting Specialist, Senior

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for the full life cycle recruiting process focused on various functional and market areas within the Central Maryland region. Coordinate and develop the firm's staff planning activities and interview managers to determine hiring needs. Manage the day–to–day interaction with clients and maintain responsibility for comprehending the team's business strategy while developing a strategy to support it. Maintain responsibility for tracking recruiting activity and other metrics and ensure compliance with OFCCP and Booz Allen recruiting policies. Maintain responsibility for becoming a subject matter expert in all related recruiting processes and make recommendations to drive process efficiencies. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the recruiting team while providing regular updates, relevant metrics, and problem solving suggestions to the recruiting supervisor. This position is located in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Basic Qualifications: 
-6+ years of experience with recruiting 
-Experience with full life cycle recruiting and applicant tracking systems required 

-Knowledge of security clearance processes
-Knowledge of federal and state employment and labor laws and OFCCP and EEO compliance 

-Knowledge of the industry and markets which will drive recruiting strategy recommendations
-Ability to show success in a client or customer service role 

-Ability to mentor both senior and junior recruiters on industry best practices

-Ability to assess recruiting metrics with supervisory guidance and make appropriate recommendations

-Ability to forge strong client relationships across the enterprise to help drive successful strategies
-HS diploma or GED required

Additional Qualifications: 
-Experience with recruiting cleared candidates preferred 
-Experience with working in a DoD environment preferred 
-Ability to produce expected results in a rapidly changing and fast–paced environment 
-Ability to exercise independent judgment to decide on appropriate priorities and procedures to follow 
-Ability to provide consistent, high quality service across multiple business units 
-Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels within an organization 
-Possession of excellent analytical skills to solve problems of a sensitive nature 
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills 
-BA or BS degree preferred
