 Strategy & Sales Operations Manager

TheCommercial Strategy and Sales Operations Manager will have a key role to playin delivering sustainable and profitable growth for the organization throughthe development of the Commercial strategy and the delivery ofbest in class processes, systems and analytics to allow the effective executionof that strategy.


Involved in the development of the strategic plan that combines customer strategies and strategy for the Commercial function more generally with the product and category strategies of the Product & Innovation organization

  • This position will have a leading role in the systemization, automation, process enhancement and continuous improvement agenda of the Commercial function.
  • Develop analytics and reporting for the Commercial and other functions that incorporate financial and non-financial metrics and historic & forward looking metrics to provide critical insights on our commercial performance as well as on our customers and markets.
  • Assist in the development of a best-in-class customer communication strategy that translates the relevant product messaging and overall branding into compelling customer-specific value propositions.

Job Requirements


  • Degree in business, finance, strategy or an analytical field
  • MBA preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience within a consulting or corporate setting
  • Must have experience in a Strategy Oriented Role or corporate Commercial or sales operations role
  • Experience and solid understanding or a ERP/MRP system, preferably SAP


  • Must be a highly analytical, strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen, good problem solving skills and capable of assessing market/business opportunities over near and long-term planning horizons
  • Passionate about the business
  • Will be a strong external ambassador/advocate for the business and will be highly collaborative with the ability to work successfully across teams, regions and functions
  • Must possess strong commercial awareness across the entire value chain
  • Highly detailed with a systematic approach, sense of responsibility and strong understanding of and relentless customer focus
  • Strong business understanding and orientation
  • Effectively handles multiple, rapidly changing and conflicting priorities
  • Results focused to drive the defined team and organizational goals
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), to include speaking clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations and with all levels in the organization
  • High level understanding of accounting including an ability to read and interpret a P&L statement, balance sheet and statement of cash flows
  • Strong ability to translate data and information into clear messages and actionable insights
  • Possess a passion for learning new skills
