Mechanical assembler.
Duties include working with minimal supervision; reading and interpreting blueprints; building various types of conveyors and material handling equipment. Must be able to read and work from a blueprint.
Experience wiring to motors, proximity switches, photo-eyes, push buttons, disconnect boxes and/or electrical panels is a plus.
Must have basic hand tools including but not limited to socket wrenches, box & open end wrenches, Allen wrenches, screwdrivers, hammer, tape measure, wire cutter, wire stripper, etc.
Must be able to pay attention to details.
The assembler is responsible for:
" Performing tasks in a safe manner and adhering to safety rules and regulations
" Gathering the necessary parts to assemble each unit
" Assembling/building equipment in the proper sequence
" Working individually or as part of a team
" Test running each piece of equipment
" Ensuring that each piece of equipment is fully assembled and functional according to customer specifications
" Coordinating with the paint department to ensure that the paint is touched-up
" Completing and signing an inspection report
