Job Description


Drives truck over established route to deliver products and/or render services. Distributes products, verifies accuracy and collects money from customers. Verifies product inventories. Collects containers and returns to distribution center.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Drives truck to deliver such items as wine, beer and non-alcoholic products to customer's place of business. 
  • Collects money from customers and records transactions on customer receipt. 
  • Reviews customer orders and ensure proper delivery of product.
  • Records sales or deliveries information on a delivery record.
  • Issues or obtains appropriate customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery.
  • Listens to and resolves service complaints. 
  • Places stock in appropriate place. Sets up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issues sales promotion materials to customers. Collects or picks up empty containers or rejected or unsold merchandise. Returns empty containers to warehouse for distribution back to supplier.
  •  Loads truck when necessary. 
  • Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery. 
  • Cleans inside of truck. Performs routine truck maintenance. Performs daily routine vehicle inspection reports.
  • Conducts product inventory.
  • Willing and able to transport, deliver and stock ALL products that may be ordered by our customers.
  • Moves inventory in warehouse and participate in inventory.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Beverage Industry experience preferred but not required

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Applicable valid state driver's license. Ability to obtain and maintain NC State ABC Permit.

MUST be 21 or over.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
