Position covers Boone, NC and surrounding markets
Draft Technician cleans, troubleshoots and repairs draft equipment owned by our customers. Develops new draft beer business and maintains current business by working with Sales Representatives and District Managers in accounts by coordinating promotions, inspecting dates on products and insuring the draft lines are cleaned to Empire Distributors of NC, Inc. standards. This position assists at beer festivals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for biweekly cleaning of draft lines and faucets in existing draft beer accounts in specifically determined territory.
Reports back to management a weekly status of line cleaning and log.
Draft Tech must meet with management of account to inform them of visit and that their equipment has been cleaned.
Performs minor installation services and repairs
Assists with and/or attends special event assistance as necessary
They are responsible for their own transportation; EDI will supply all tools and cleaning equipment.
Submits a weekly schedule and itinerary as well as a monthly recap to the OP Director for inclusion in monthly report.
Works with Sales Representatives with new draft beer opportunities. Seeks out new sales prospects by self in the assigned service area.
Develops relationships with draft beer suppliers.
Monitors and regulates Pick-ups, credits and unsalable as related to the draft beer division.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
State ABC license, valid driver's license
