Job Description

Summary - Sells Spirits to retail package stores for wholesale distributor

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Service and maintain current accounts with orders for Empire Spirit Products and customer service.
Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads.
Travels through assigned territory daily to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, sells displays, present items for distribution, and handle damages and off-condition product.
Quotes prices and credit terms for orders obtained.
Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.
Confers with District Manager to resolve customer problems.
Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries.
Identifies and respond to customers' needs.
Maintains frequent and open communication with drivers, driver supervisors, district managers, sales managers and the general manager.
Prepares and maintains distribution tracking reports, planning and goals, case and dollar tracking and other administrative tasks as assigned.
Executes sales plans and maintain accounts according to company standards.
Tracks progress of goals on a weekly basis.
Participates in supplier work-withs.
Continually maintains training and product knowledge.
Delivers emergency orders when needed.
Attends trade show.
Conducts business according to local and state laws.
Other duties as assigned by District Manager.

Education and/or Experience - Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations - Must have the ability to sustain a current and valid Alcohol Sales Permit from the Georgia Department of Revenue. Must maintain valid drivers license.

Computer skills - To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Order processing systems.
