Brief Job Description:
Responsible for Supply Chain North America carbonaccounting,SchneiderElectric account management and support of variousGoGreeninitiatives.  Executes carbon data analyses andannualinternalaudits through engagement with site operations,finance,corporatecarbon accounting (CAC) and LOGICS team.  Rolewill enableSupply Chain to achieve carbon reduction and accuracy goalsandsecureadditional energy contract savings (>$800,000 realizedbyprogram in2016) and increased response time to SchneiderElectric. Supports a variety of central and site level initiativessuch aslightingupgrades, renewable energy reviews, etc.

Detailed Job Description:

- Participates on and supports initiatives to advance NA and the global Center of Excellence agenda. 
- Supports development of regional project budget for Renewable Energy Certificate purchases.
- Compiles and analyzes carbon data including CEX/KPI performance, monthly abatement calculation and tracking and site level carbon emission analysis.
- Ensures NA meets data accuracy targets and reviews data monthly prior to LOGICS upload. Uploads Schneider utility data monthly to LOGICS.  Performs data plausibility checks quarterly for CAC and regional site scoping as needed.
o Audits 20% of carbon events annually and manages NA monthly data submission to CAC
o Facilitates quarterly reviews and YE carbon reporting with the NA CFO and Sustainability Manager.
- Assists sites with lighting upgrades assessment, vendor management and ROI analyses for sites.
- Manages Utility Contract vendor relationship for DSC NA and triannual contract negotiation with GBS.
- Manages utility:
o Responsible for new site enrollment, Resource Advisor dashboard logins, and account management between DSC NA, Utilities and CASS.
o Assists with loading profile approvals for new Schneider Electric contract approvals and getting sign off on contract within Exel (Site, Finance, PRC, GoGreen team)
o Provides updated Lease/OSA dates to Schneider Electric
o Reviews monthly electric and natural gas data variance CY v. PY and resolves errors
o Validates Schneider Cost & Usage Reports against Invoices monthly
o Resolves any issues with CASS and utility billing or invoicing with site GMs and SE. Resolution of all billing and enrollment issues in a timely manner (48 hr turnaround). 
o Coordinates with Project Management and Operations to set up new operations on the program.
o Works with vendor on new energy contract strategies to reduce our cost and hedge against price increases.
o Participates in bi or triannual contract negotiation with GBS. 
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- One to two years of accounting and/ or general management experience
- Some data entry and auditing experience (online, Excel)
- Ability to work independently, yet communicateeffectivelywithoperations and functional teams.  Persistence withbusy siteteamswhile still remaining composed and congenial isessential.Resolvesissues in a timely manner.
- Exceptional attention to detail. Must be thorough inordertodiscover inaccuracies and idiosyncrasies in data.
- Can lead internal project teams in collaborativeandresultsoriented manner.
- Excellent quantitative skills.  Adept at datamanipulationandtrend analysis.  Understands how to assess andadviseoperations oncosts savings and ROI.  Basic understandingofoperational expenses,revenue and accounting principles.
- Basic project management skills and logistics
- Basic computer skills: Web navigation, MicrosoftOffice(Excel,Word, PowerPoint). Access, SAP, Oracle experience would be beneficial.
- Ability to understand drivers of carbon emissions andDHLcarbonaccounting protocols for all carbon scopes. ComprehendsCACstandards and can audit to them and train site teams.Needs to beadeptwith Resource Advisor and interpretation ofutilityinvoicing/billing inNorth America.
