Job Description

This is a great opportunity for an Account Manager with a major client in Morgantown, PA.  This is a permanent position with regular business hours (open 7 days a week) with up to 80% of travel required.  Must have a valid driver's license and own transportation (company will reimburse mileage).

The purpose of this job is to service existing accounts by growing and maintaining sales.  Additionally, the job is to build and maintain customer relationships as well as provide ongoing support with product placement on plan-o-grams.


  

  • Visit existing customer accounts and take on the responsibility of growing same store sales and maintaining sales of current product, as well as introducing new product lines and programs.
  • Work with new and existing business to build and maintain customer relationships.  This requires knowing the customers and building relationships with store owners and key management personnel of both stores and chains. 
  • Identify product placement through plan-o-grams, and maintain placement through routine customer follow up visits and required tag maintenance.
  • Responsible for the placement of new items within the existing configuration of the store shelving layout, as well as pulling any out-of-stock or discontinued product items.
  • Primarily responsible for account receivable management with customers in assigned territory and special attention focused for those directed by Accounts Receivable Manager. 
  • Accountable for moneys collected for payments on territory accounts.
  • Assist controller when asked in collection of overdue accounts.
  • Responsible for the distribution of all brochures, flyers, and publications from the Company Marketing to key store personnel in order to grow sales.
  • Continue to penetrate territory of new business and existing accounts for potential new business opportunities.
  • Provide ongoing assistance to New Business Developer by communicating new account leads.
  • All other duties as assigned
